Solution Processed OLEDs

The solution process is simpler than vacuum deposition, enabling large-area manufacturing at a lower cost. By utilizing solution-based printing processes, it is possible to produce ultra-large OLED and QD-OLED displays. In our lab, the molecular simulation proposed in the paper facilitates the implementation and performance enhancement of the solution process. Additionally, the bipolar soluble host presented in the paper allows for further performance improvements. The solution process is expected to play a crucial role not only in OLEDs but also in various next-generation display technologies, with significant potential for future advancements.

Stretchable & Flexible OLEDs

Stretchable displays are a display technology that can expand and deform, making them a highly innovative technology with great potential for application in wearable electronics and next-generation electronic devices.

A high-efficiency stretchable OLED (GSOLED) utilizing a nanowavy structure was developed to overcome the limitations of conventional stretchable OLEDs and maximize performance.

The electrical and optical performance of GSOLED was evaluated under various stretching conditions.
